Christmas on the Farm by Reneé Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing the first Christmas card I made this year.

I used:

I made a vignette card by cutting an oval out of the top layer of paper after I embossed it and then popped it up for some dimension.

Love by Cheri Burry!

Happy Friday Ai Fans!
Yah it's Friday!! Not only does Friday mean the weekends here but it also means it's my turn to share a card with you! I've decided to use the Art Impressions "Mouse Slider set"!
I always love the "Slider Sets" as they make such a fun and interactive card! You do need to purchase the Ai "Slider Die" though as it makes it so easy to make the frame for the slider component.
I love how this little cute girl mouse runs and hugs her guy!! That's just too sweet!
Here I wanted to show you that you don't have to use the "Mouse Slider set" as a "slider" card. You can simply just use the images on your card as well. The set comes with the images and dies to make your card with.
Copics Used:
Mice: E11, E13, E15, R20
Girl: RV17, RV19, Y35, Y38
Boy: YG63, YG67

Let's see what our friend Carol has created for today's tutorial!

Hello Ai Friends!

I have a super fun card today using the NEW Santa Flutter Set!  Santa is enjoying some play time in the snow with snowballs before his busy season begins!  Teehee! ;)

This card is bright, shiny and sparkly--just how a holiday card should be, I think!

I foiled the background with some striped toner paper, red foil, and a laminator.  The bow is foiled by using some toner paper with the red foil.  I used my We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3 Punch Board to make the bow.

As you can see, this is a snow scene on top of a present!  I just used some white and red card stock to make the ribbon on the striped paper.  I die cut a tab from some scrap foiled paper to add to the top of the pull strip.  I used some twine from my stash in the tab and tied on some mini jingle bells.  I used Distress Collage Medium to attached the little white pom-poms to the bells and to the snowy hills.  It dries clear with a matte finish and doesn't show at all!

There are printed directions to follow on the back of the insert with the stamp set.  I wanted the pull strip to come from the top.  I am a very visual person and can follow pictures more easily than written instructions.   If you're that way too, here are a couple photos that may help you when you make your card.  Another tip:  One leg wasn't moving like it should.  I had pushed the brad down too tightly.  Bend the tabs down enough to hold, but you want it loose!

Isn't this Santa's face just so adorable?!!

Here is a close up to show the sparkle and shine!

I hope you will give one of the new Flutters a try!  They are so fun! Thank you for stopping by!  Happy stamping (and fluttering!)

Copics used:

Friends Who Laugh...Last! By Crystal Schneider

Hello AI Fans!

This week I played with Comfy on the couch set 4050. I started by stamping the image onto a 6"X6" piece of water color cardstock. I made a mask for them so I could ink the background. I wanted the living room to be fun so I added pink carpet and stenciled a fun pink pattern for wall paper.

I thought this week I would color with something different other then alcohol markers for a change. I have not used water colors in a long time so thought I would use them this week.

I used Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers by coloring on an acrylic block and then I used a water brush to apply the color to the image.

After all of the painting was done I added the sentiment "Friends Who Laugh...Last!" to the bottom of the card.

I ended up trimming the watercolor cardstock down a little bit and rounding the corners. I matted the watercolor cardstock onto some black and white pattern paper. I adhered the card panel to a 6"X 6" card base.

Happy Stamping!

Like It's a Bad Thing by Dana Warren

Hello AI fans!!

I can't believe its almost October!?!? This means its time to start sharing Halloween cards!! AI recently released some new Halloween and Thanksgiving sets!! My card today features the Ghoul Friend stamp set! Perfect if your are a fan of the Girlfriends stamps!!

I started by stamping the two ladies and then using my Spectrum Noir Markers to color them. I usually have a list of colors used, but .... I'm have a major computer problem so I'm typing this from the library and I didn't bring my supply list with me. Luckily I had backed up all my card photo's and other important docs before the computer decided not to work, so at least you have a post with photos today!!! I'll update this post sometime in the future, either with a fixed computer or at another trip to the library! :)  EDITED to ADD: SN colors used: AB1, AB3, BO1, DR4, DR6, EB1, EB2, EB5, EB6, FS2, FS9, HB2, HB3, IG1, IG4, IG6, LV3, MB2, MB4, OR2, OR3, TN2, YG1, YG2, YG3.

Okay, continuing on about the card! After coloring the image I cut it out with a fancy square die from Spellbinders. I also stamped the They Say I'm a Witch Like It's a Bad Thing sentiment on a smaller die cut square.

From my pattern paper stash I found a orange pattern that would work for Halloween and added it to a white card base. I added the stamped image and sentiment to the card with foam tape. Last I die cut two bats Memory Box from some stray black corrugated cardboard that was in my stash. It flatted a bit from die cutting, but still adds great texture.

Thanks for stopping by!! Happy Stamping!!

Happy Fall Watercolor Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

The new Bible Journaling line of stamps are beautiful, but it just isn't something that I do.  That doesn't mean that I don't want several of the items from the new release.  I just had to have the Block Letter Die Set. I knew that I could use it in a variety of ways in my card making.  Once I saw how it was used on the packaging with masking paper, I had to try it myself.  The first way I had to try it was to make a Fall card because Saturday was the first day of Fall. Happy Fall!
The word Fall was cut out of masking paper using the Block Letter Die Set. It was attached to a piece of Canson XL Watercolor paper.  The area around the word was filled in using the Watercolor the Art Impressions way and the listed Ai stamp sets as well as the listed Marvy LePlume II markers. Once that was done, the masked letters were lifted off.  A shadow was added tot he letters with the Rosewood marker.
A piece of gold paper was added behind the watercolor piece.  It was added to a piece of dark brown paper with foam tape.  The brown paper was added to a pumpkin spice card with foam tape.  It was hard, but I kept the card very simple so the main image stood out.

Marvy LePlume II Markers Used:
Red 2, Brown 6, Olive Green 15,
Dark Brown 18, English Red 28, Rosewood 30,
Butterscotch 83, Tropical 101

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!
