Easter Burrow by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri here! Today, I am sharing a layered card design featuring the HM Easter Set which is part of the Holiday Mansion collection. This Easter project is perfect for Ai's current challenge "Here Comes Peter Cottontail," as it features a family of adorable rabbits. Keep reading below for details on how I made this creation.

To create the layered burrow scene, I used the Stitched Den die set from Lawn Fawn. I used purple plaid paper to create the "wallpaper" inside the burrow, and I used distressed tan paper to create the dirt floor. To create the woodsy design on the front panel I used Vintage Photo Distress Oxide ink in a swiping motion to create the streaks across the cardstock.

To finish the card I die cut the sentiment banner with the Flag Double Stitched Dies set. The sentiment is heat embossed with white embossing powder making in ink resistant to the ombre ink blending on the banner. I used Peacock Feathers Distress ink to create the shading on the banner.

Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!

Hoppy Easter!

Hi Ai Fans!
Tasha here sharing two Easter cards created with the fun HM Easter Set!

For the first card, I wanted to make a little scene that resembled an Easter family photo. These little bunny stamps are too cute and look so happy, don't they just make you smile?

The second design is a festive slimline card using the Holiday Mansion stamp set. I love the Easter eggs in the basket and on the door; so fun!!!

I also added some birds and flowers from the HM Garden Set. The little birds work perfectly with the Easter theme and I enjoy mixing my stamp sets.

The sentiment "Happy Easter" was embossed in white and I cut a simple banner out of green stock to blend in with the green used on the stenciled grass.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you are inspired too create a fun Easter card!
Have a wonderful day!

Some Bunny Special by Carol Hintermeier

Happy Monday Ai Fans!

Can you believe March is nearing its end and Easter is just about a month away?  How time flies!  My card today features two sets:  Holiday Mansion and HM Easter.  The Holiday Mansion set has so many accessories that make it easy to use for many different occasions!

I stamped and then colored everything with my Copics (colors listed below).  For the background I used a cloud stencil and some Distress Oxide inks in pretty pastel rainbow colors.  This angled photo shows the clear sparkle I added to the eggs.

I glued the three bunnies in position on the house before I added the foam tape to the back for dimension.  I adhered the basket of eggs directly onto the card base to add a more dimensional look.  I used Nuvo Crystal Drops to emulate "smoke" coming from the chimney.  There has to be pink smoke coming from the fireplace in this paste scene, right?  Haha!

I had a lot of fun creating this pastel scene!  Until next Monday, have a wonderful, crafty week!

Easter Bunnies by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Happy Easter!

Well, it's almost Easter.  This is my last chance to wish you all a Happy Easter even though I thought that was the case last week.  This week I'm using the HM Easter Set 4976. This stamp set is designed to be used with the Holiday Mansion set, but I decided to use it without the mansion.  There are a bunch of cute little images that can be used by themselves.  What makes everything even easier is that the dies are included in the set !

I stamped my images onto Spectrum Ultra Smooth Premium white card stock with MFT Extreme black ink and colored them with my Copic markers.  Colors are listed below.  I have a pretty limited Copic collection so I had to get creative.  I wanted pastel colors so I used my regular colors and lightened them with my colorless blender.

For the main layer, I used my Cricut Air to cut out the word Easter onto cream paper.  I then cut out a layer using my SSS Stitched rectangles.  I made a card base with 110 lb. white paper.  I masked off the areas that would show through each letter of the word Easter.  I them colored in each area using the mini blending tool with a foam tool and my Distress inks.  In order I used Spun Sugar, Spiced Marmalade, Scattered Straw, Shabby Shutters, Shaded Lilac and Tumbled Glass.  I attached the cream layer onto the card.  After that I added the four bunnies, the basket and paint cans over each letter with foam tape.  The last thing I did was add a matching colored gem next to each letter.

Copics used:
Bunnies - E30, E31, W1, W3, RV10
Buckets - C5, C3, C1
B00, BV00, Y11. YG03, Blender

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Easter Egg Watercolor Truck by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

Happy First Day of Spring!

When I first saw the truck in the new Ai watercolor release I knew I wanted to get it because I could fill it with tons of things.  It was a given that I would put flowers and leaves in it, but Easter eggs was not one of the first things I thought of. This blog post is falling on the first day of spring, but it is also my last post before Easter, so I had to come up with a way to combine the two.  After looking at the sets I had planned to use this month, I decided to combine a few of them into this one post.

I started with a piece of Canson XL watercolor paper.  I inked up my truck from the WC Truck Mini Set 5011 with African Violet and Sepia and stamped the truck in the center of the paper and pulled the color from the lines.  I masked the truck and used Steel Blue to ink just the eggs from the HM Easter Set 4976 Basket Image.  I stamped them once around the cab of the truck and used masking paper to create a mask before I stamped them again towards the back of the truck bed.  Then I colored the eggs with Iris PurpleVioletTropicalBrilliant Yellow and Steel Blue markers from a WC Palette using a # 4 brush. I inked the three tiny blooms from the WC Mini Flower Set 3, 5009 with Violet and stamped it in small clusters.  I inked up another small bloom from the same set with Brilliant Yellow and stamped in a few different areas.  I filled in the gaps using the tiny grass from the Foliage set 4051 inked with Pine Green.  I also added some vines from the WC Foliage Set 3 5007 with Pine Green.  Once I was happy with everything, I cut my image out with Spellbinders Nestabilities 4.

I stamped the set of three eggs from the Sweet Easter Set 5004 onto the Canson XL paper with Jet Black Archival Ink.  I colored them using my same supplies.  I fussy cut them out with detail scissors and added them to my layer with foam tape. I also stamped the Happy Easter greeting from that same stamp set with the Jet Black ink and cut it out using the Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels set 17. I also added that with foam tape.

Thanks for stopping by and Have a Great Day!

Easter Mansion By Cheri Burry!

Hi Ai Fans!
Today I wanted to share with you a fun project! I am using the Art Impressions "Holiday Mansion" and the "HM Easter set". I find it so fun and relaxing to create a little scene with these stamps and dies!
I decided to stamp the Holiday Mansion onto my Designer paper from Echo Park called "Hello Easter". It adds a fun element to the house! Then I stamped and coloured all the little accessories from the "HM Easter" set and die cut them out with the dies that are included. Now all you have to do is have fun and put together you mansion. I decided to add a little fence and some grass for another cute element to my card.
There is a lot of dimension to these cards. I popped up the Mansion, fence, shutters and grass with some foam tape. I also cut the shutters out of Designer paper as well.
