Tasha here sharing a card featuring the 6088-Woodland Bench Scene stamp. It has been snowing a lot where I live and the Winter weather inspired me to create a snowy little scene. These furry friends look happy enjoying the falling snow.

The card was stamped with black hybrid ink and colored with Copic Markers. The stamped image already had some snow, but I added more with a white gel pen. I also used the same gel pen to create random snowflakes making sure some of the flakes went on top both of the critters. 

Lastly, I used a black liner pen to create a pattern on each scarf; I love the pop of color! I also attached several paper layers to complete the design.

❄️ Flap‑Fold Winter Card Featuring the Sweetest Snowman by Janet

There’s something magical about winter crafting - especially when it involves a fun fold and a charming snowman. Today’s project is a flap‑style fun fold card that brings together soft winter colors, playful textures, and a sprinkle of sparkle. While we humans may not be loving the cold weather right now, our snowman couldn't be happier!

The star of this card is the adorable snowman from the 6107 – Snowman Hugs Set. I colored him with Copic markers, giving him a green winter coat and a pink hat and scarf for a cheerful, non‑traditional palette that still feels perfectly frosty. He was cut out using the dies in the set and mounted on the diamond with foam tape. As a special little touch, I added a small red cardstock heart to his jacket. 

For the foundation, I used a blue cardstock base—a cool, wintry backdrop that pairs beautifully with the patterned papers from the 5963 – Winter Woodland Paper Pack. The flap fold adds an interactive twist, making the card feel extra special before it’s even opened.

To bring in that snowy magic, I added white glitter cardstock snowflakes using the 5353 – Lg Snowflake Dies. These large, shimmering flakes create a gorgeous layered background behind the snowman.

For the finishing touch, I scattered sequin snowflakes in silver, blue, and pink across the design. They catch the light beautifully.

And of course, sentiments were added to provide the perfect message. On the front flap, I added “Bundled Up and Full of Joy”—a perfect match for this cozy winter scene. Inside, I included the playful sentiment “There’s snow one like you”. Both are sentiments included in the Snowman Hugs Set. To keep the sparkle going, I sprinkled more sequin snowflakes around the inside sentiment for a soft, shimmering finish.

Christmas in the Woods! Card by Tasha

Happy Friday Art Impressions friends!

Tasha here sharing a Holiday card created with the new 6085-Woodland Snowman Scene stamp set. Now that we’re officially in December, it’s the perfect time to finish (or start!) those holiday cards and projects, and this sweet snowman scene is wonderful for sending warm Christmas wishes to someone special.

To build my scene, I stamped the snowman and added a cluster of pine trees behind him to give the design a cozy woodland feel. I used Bleed Proof White to paint snowy highlights on the trees, add texture to the ground, and create soft falling snowflakes; this little detail really brings the winter magic to life.

For the sentiment, I stamped “Merry Christmas” in bright red ink on a crisp white banner and attached it to layers of Green, Red, and White cardstock. A festive plaid patterned paper ties everything together and adds that classic holiday charm.

Friends Make Our Hearts Warm by Janet

 Hi everyone! I'm very excited to share a card made with a new line of stamps just released. They are called Woodland Christmas Foundations. This image is 6085-Woodland Snowman Scene. Isn't this snowman and his friends precious? The stamps are square in size so I created a square card for it. I used the 6047-Nested Scalloped Square dies for the layered background.

I first created the card base and the layers before I started on the stamped image. I wanted to make sure I knew exactly how large the focal point needed to be before I started it. I layered berry blue and white glitter cardstock to form the background.

Once done, I stamped the image on alcohol ink friendly paper and cut it out using one of the nested scallop dies. Then I got to work coloring it. To add a little sparkle, I coated the snowman with glitter ink using a Wink of Stella  pen from the Ai Store. It adds just the right amount of shine to snow!

As a finish, I tied a white satin bow and glued it to the top of the card. It's a charming image with an equally charming background.

Warm Winter Wishes! Card by Tasha

Tasha here sharing a card inspired by the current Stitches & Scallops Challenge. For this project, I used the super cute 5802 – Joyful Snowman Set and 6047 – Scalloped Square Dies to create a cheerful winter scene. It’s never too early to get a head start on holiday cards!

I stamped the snowman with black ink and colored him with Copic markers. To give his winter accessories extra personality, I used a black liner pen to draw a knitted pattern; little custom touches like this are some of my favorite ways to add detail. I even added a tiny heart to his pocket for an extra sweet look. After that, I cut him out with the coordinating die and popped him up with foam tape for dimension.

For the background, I created a snowy hill and paired it with Art Impressions snowflake pattern paper for the sky. To match the challenge theme, I added scalloped frames in two sizes; one with a slightly different scalloped edge, which adds great visual interest.

The card base features layers of blue, white, and gray cardstock, along with a piece of blue plaid pattern paper that ties in perfectly with the colors on the snowman. To finish it off, I used a white gel pen to add extra snowflakes directly onto the snowman for that frosty, wintery feel.

Season's Greetings! Card by Tasha

Tasha here sharing a new card inspired by the current Art Impressions LEON Day! Challenge. Can you believe we’re already halfway to Christmas? LEON (which is “NOEL” spelled backward) is the perfect time to start thinking about winter cards, and I had so much fun creating this snowy design!

For my project, I used the adorable 5954-Woodland Bears Set. I just love this little bear and the sweet bird; it’s such a cozy winter scene! I stamped the main image with black ink and used the coordinating die to cut it out before coloring the image with Copic Markers.

To build the background, I layered white cardstock to look like a snowy hillside and added several pine trees behind the bear to create a forest effect. For the sky, I used a snow print pattern paper with falling snowflakes; it really adds a winter feel.

To complete the card, I added layers of silver glitter paper for some sparkle, along with green, white, and blue cardstock. I also included a piece of Art Impressions’ winter-themed patterned paper to tie everything together.

Tasha here sharing my first project of 2025! Today's card was inspired by the current "Craft Time is Golden" Challenge and features the 5953-Woodland Critters Set.

Now that Winter is in full swing and we are getting more snow here in Wisconsin, I thought it would be fun to create a little winter wonderland scene. I love owls and this stamp is perfect for Fall and Winter projects, his little scarf is just too cute!

I colored the owl with Copic Markers and used the included dies to cut the image out. To go with the "Golden" theme, I created a sparky gold glitter frame which looks awesome with the blue snowflake background. Art Impressions has great pattern paper!

Lastly, I added layers of blue, white, and brown card stock, pine cone pattern paper, and a scalloped frame using the same snowflake paper behind the owl. I also attached a "Thinking of You" sentiment to complete the design.

Baby, It's Cold Outside! by Janet

 It sure is cold across much of the US and Canada this weekend so I thought it would only be fitting to make a card to acknowledge it. I would say celebrate but.....that's probably the wrong word right? Brrr! I hope all of you have a toasty house and plenty of warm drinks.

I used several die sets for this one. I created the shaped background using the largest page die in the 5768 - Decorative Journal Page 1. It's an unusual use for it but it works great on the card. I trimmed off the edge that is intended to be folded and put in a journal. When applied to the edge of the card, it makes a nice shaped sky for the snowman. This pudgy snowman and his bird friend are from 5351 - Chubby Snowman Set. I colored him with Copic markers. The sentiment is also in the set. I heat embossed it with silver on a circle cut from 5064 - Circle Double Stitched Dies. I made the flurry of snowflakes in the background using 5353 - Lg Snowflake Dies with white glitter cardstock. Finally I added a floss bow, blue enamel dots, and iridescent sequins. It's an icy but cheerful scene. Perfect for what I had in mind!

Let it Snow by Sharon Caudle

 Hello AI Fans!!

There's a new challenge going on and it's Making Spirits Bright! So for that, I created a card featuring the brand new and absolutely ADORABLE #5802 Joyful Snowman Set! Oh my gosh, how cute are all of these snowmen! I can't get enough of them! I wanted to create a little wintry scene inside the beautiful #5782 Snowflake Frame Set, and then I added the Let it Snow sentiment from #5566 Christmas Sentiments. With the new release last week of all the oh so cute snowmen sets, I'm in heaven!! I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers which are listed below. Dachshund Through the Snow Card by Tasha!

Tasha here sharing a new holiday card featuring the Art Impressions 4937 - Santa Paws Set. This design was also inspired by the current "You're Such a Square!" Challenge; it's so much fun make square holiday cards!

To begin, I stamped the little doggie and colored his festive clothing with markers before cutting him out. I also added foam tape and a little light gray shadow under him to make it look like he was jumping in the snow. I think his little winter outfit and the large bell are too cute!

For the background, I used a piece of snowflake pattern paper for the sky and attached a stitched hill for the ground. I also used Distress Oxide Ink for some extra blue color; I think the blue makes the white pop and look more like snow.

The greeting "Dachshund Through the Snow" was stamped with a light blue ink to coordinate with the snowy scene. I also attached layers of black, pink, and blue glitter paper to bring in more color and complete the project.

Thinking of You - Stretching Your Christmas Stamps

Hello everyone! I'm back again this week to offer further inspiration for a Windows to the World stamp set. If you missed our challenge post, check it out. Included is my tutorial for using a Windows the to the World stamp and dies designed just for it. Here's the card I made to kick of our newest challenge. The post can be found HERE.

The weather has definitely turned colder and I wanted to a card featuring a winter scene. Most winter stamps in my collection are about the Christmas season. However, I realized that this Christmas stamp, M4691 - With Love Window could be used for a winter themed card. All I had to do was eliminate the sentiment around the window which mentions Christmas. I love when you can get multiple seasons out of one stamp set! Here's a close up of the finished stamp on the card. The snowman is so cheerful. Just what we need in the middle of January!

In today's card I decided to create mats with graduating window sizes. Each layer underneath is slightly smaller until the window is the perfect size for the stamp. To do this, I picked my papers and cut them all to fit an A2 sized card base. I used three 5061-Square Double Stitched Dies to create a gradual reduction to the die I used from the 5408-ShadowBox Window Die that perfectly fits the Windows to the World stamps. If you don't have this die, you can simply fussy cut it out.

I highly recommend using paper pads when choosing to use multiple patterns on a card. Doing so makes sure the colors go together. In my case, I also chose a pattern that had a tree pattern at the bottom of it. I used it to my advantage as part of the design on the card. All I needed to add was a sentiment to finish it!
