Hello Fall by Dori Mendiola

 Happy Thursday AI Friends!

My card today is inspired by the Challenge "All the Fall".  I should probably have made a Halloween card since today is Halloween, but oh well.  šŸ˜  Instead, I chose to welcome in the Fall season using the 5776 Front and Back Sitting Girl, the 5460 Halloween Slimline and the 5783 Fall Leaf Frame die.

I began by stamping the images using Memento black ink on copic friendly paper and colored with copic markers listed below.  For the wagon and the pumpkins, I did a partial stamp of the bottom portion of the 5460 Halloween Slimline set.  I used the die to cut it out and then cut off the owl and above leaving the pumpkins and the wagon.  The sitting girl fits perfectly on the pumpkins and I added a leaf to cover the missing portion of the pumpkin.  I cut her arm to place the leaves under so it looks like she is holding them.

I cut two leaf frames from two different colors of cardstock and inlaid the opposite color die cut pieces into the corresponding spot on the other frame.  This will give you a two for one frame to use on another card.  I placed a piece of the falling leaf pattern paper from the 5838 Fall paper pack behind the frame for the background.  I then popped up the girl sitting on the pumpkins and adhered to the frame.  Since I didn't have the same color pop dots or nuvo drops, I made my own.  I placed a piece of packing tape over the rust colored cardstock and punched out several pieces using a hole punch.  The packing tape gives a glossy look, but you can also add glossy accents.  I recommend adding the glossy accents after adhering the dots to your card as they are tiny and hard to work with when loose.

Hope you enjoyed my card today!

Happy Halloween, Happy Fall and Happy Nevada day for those of us in Nevada.

Halloween Slimline Card by Tasha!

 Happy Friday Friends!

Tasha here sharing a Halloween slimline card inspired by the current "All the Fall" Challenge. My project features the fun 5460-Halloween Slimline Set and I just LOVE these cute little critters!

I started by stamping the main image and leaves with black ink and used the included coordinating dies to cut them out. It can be a challenge at times to create with large stamps, but I think having a little outdoor scene with a bright moon was a great way to highlight the furry friends and their pumpkins.

The sentiment I selected is from the 5037-Halloween Magic Set; another one of my favorite sets. I embossed the greeting on to black paper and think the bright white goes great with moon and sky background.
Lastly, I attached gold glitter paper, deep teal and black card stock, and a layer of pretty leaf print pattern paper. I also added a little Distress Oxide Ink to the moon to complete the card.

Thank you for checking out today's project and I hope you will participate in the "All the Fall" Challenge!

Have a great day!

Hello and happy Sunday!

Today I'm sharing another page from my Halloween journals as well as announcing the winner of the Black Cat GCH set!

I used the 5328 – Halloween Mini Dies for the bat and spider. The cat is from 5333 – Cats Mini Dies.
The bat that I colored is from 5460 – Halloween Slimline Set.

Now for the announcement you've all been waiting for!  The lucky random winner of the 5341 – Black Cat GCH Set is...

Fall & Pumpkin Slimline Card by Nina

Hello Ai fans, join me today as I share this cute slimline card using the cute Halloween Slimline Set.

I am going for Zig Brush markers today so I am stamping my images with watercolor friendly ink, Versafine Onyx Black Ink. I then choose my Fall-themed palette from my Pinterest Pallets collection here.

I then cut all around my images.

I scribbled with different Zig marker blue shades on my glass mat and sprayed them with water and smooched my background on them to crate a lovely textured background. For the background, I used Ai Slimline die set to cut it.

I also cut the grass from a cloud border and ink blended couple green shades of Distress Inks.

I used the letters from the Halloween Slimline set to write the word Fall. It didnt have an F, so I stamped the E instead and cut a bit of its bottom to make an F, and colored all my letters with same Zig markers shades.

I then assembled my card with foam tape behind my pumpkins.

Spooky Halloween Window by ReneƩ Matarese

Hello Ai fans!

Today I'm sharing my card for the Perfect Plaid challenge on the Art Impressions blog.

I know it's July but I've been wanting to try one of the watercolor windows for a spooky Halloween card since I saw Bonnie's tutorial.  Mine is FAR different from hers and not nearly as pretty but I think it's fun.  This was her card that inspired mine.

I chose a different window than Bonnie used and I used some Wink of Stella on my windows.
Also, the window I used has one shutter.  I decided to stamp it a second time and place one on the other side.  I just cut it out, flipped it upside down and now my window has a matching pair of shutters!

I used several sets to create my card.

Halloween Pumpkins Card by Jil Lebel

Hello Ai fans!

I used the Halloween Slimline stamp set to make an A2 card.  I want everyone to see that these images are perfect for slimline cards and still work well on a standard A2 card.
I started by stamping the images onto Spectrum Noir Ultra Smooth card stock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink and colored them with Copic markers.  The colors I used will be listed at the end of this post.  I then cut the images out with the matching dies that come in the set and set them aside.  I stamped the greeting onto a piece of white card stock using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
To finish the card I cut layer of teal decorative paper as well as a slightly larger silver layer using the Rectangle A2 Dies.  I attached them to a card base made from Kraft card stock.  The Halloween greeting from the Halloween Critters set. It is cut out using the smallest die from the Slimline Die Set.  I attached the image and the greeting to the card with foam tape.

Halloween Slimline Card by Bri Firth

Hello Ai Fans - Bri Firth here! Today, I am sharing an fun Halloween card design featuring the Halloween Slimline Set. This project is featured on my personal blog today, check it out here

Since this set is part of Ai's new Slimline collection, I decided to put the images onto a slimline-sized card (3.5" x 8.5"). I used purple and orange Halloween themed paper matted with solid black cardstock to create a layered background for the card base. The images were colored with my Copic markers. I used a wide variety of oranges, along with e80's, R30's and C's to color this Fall collage. For some extra fun, I added some vellum spiderwebs that I created with the new Web Dies Set.

Check back next week for more Ai inspiration made by me!

Slimline Halloween Critter Wagon by Janet

Have you seen the new Halloween releases yet? Oh my goodness! They are adorable! Today's project uses the new Halloween Slimline Set, the Slimline Dies Set and the Web Dies Set. These little trick or treaters are way too cute to spook!

I am so happy that Ai has added a slimline die set. This has 6 stacked dies. As a bonus, it includes a long flag die too. For today's card, I used the 3rd largest die for the main panel and stacked it on top of an orange panel cut with the 2nd largest die. I love the stitching and it matches all the other stitched die sets from Ai.

I haven't done a construction video for a while but I have one today! Click on the thumbnail below to see how I created this card.

One of the great things about the new Halloween Slimline Set is that it comes with matching dies for every stamped image except for the skinny Halloween letters. However, I did notice that the flag in the Slimline Dies Set would cut that phrase out perfectly.

I colored the images with Copic markers and then created a background panel using several Oxide inks in Forest Moss, Black Soot, Chipped Sapphire and Blueprint Sketch. I created the moon by cutting a mask with a die from the Round Double Stitched Die set. The negative of the cut was used like a stencil to fill in the moon with Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade. Then the circle itself was used as a mask to protect the moon while I blended the much darker sky around it.

Water and Dylusions Spray in White Linen was used on the inked panel before I arranged all the pieces on it. The critter wagon (as I like to call it) was mounted with double sided foam tape. I cut the webs out of black glitter cardstock and attached them and the other images to the panel with Art Glitter Glue. I have to say that I adore the hanging bat from the set. I think he could carry a card all by himself, he's so cute! He even has tiny little fangs. The last thing I did was stamp the sentiment Trick Or Treat on the bottom of the card using a phrase from the Halloween Critters Set

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I've encouraged you to check out all the new releases from the past two weeks at the store. There's more coming so keep your eyes and ears on! You're going to love the new designs. In the meantime, join us in the slimline card challenge going on now through Wednesday next week. You could win up to three sets of your choice!

Happy Creating!
